Industry-leading mobile gambling software supplier xDesign has entered into a multi-year partnership with FanDuel, one of the largest gambling platforms in North America.
The partnership will see the two firms invest around C$400,000 into expanding each other’s real money casino operations, which will see the creation of 400 new jobs between the two. The deal, which builds on an existing 18-month business partnership, aims to cultivate fresh talent and produce high value employment.
xDesign will be adding forty new staff members who will work together on FanDuel's account, increasing the developer’s staff count to 120. The new agreement will strengthen xDesign's expansion goals, and the firm will raise the number of workers working in its consultant division to 350 by the end of 2022, hiring an additional 150 people.
xDesign has said that it anticipates an even greater expansion of the workforce of the firm to more than 500 workers by the year 2024.
FanDuel, meanwhile, will be hiring an additional 250 engineers to work on their gambling platform, who will have the option of working from either the United States or Scotland-based locations.

With an over 35 percent share of the market in terms of revenue generated, FanDuel is by far the most dominant player in the sports betting business in the United States. Originally established in Edinburgh, FanDuel’s headquarters are now located in the city of New York.
